Litters 

               Our current litter was born May 1st, 2008 by Bell Vom Flint Hills Wachtelhunds, a second generation Wachtelhund from Eagle River Wachtelhunds.  The sire will be Quito Vom Morretal, a German import.  This will be our "K" litter.  All of our Wachtelhund puppies are sold with a GUARANTEE and SALES CONTRACT.   Please review it if you are interested in a pup from us.

            Our last litter arrived May 21th, 2007 by Bell Vom Flint Hills Wachtelhunds and Duke Von Der Balthasarley (also a German import) which is co-owned with Kraig Glazier.  This was our “J” litter.  This was the first litter born in the States and registered with the VDW.  All of our 2007 pups have been placed.  Click here to view our pups. 

            Eagle River Wachtelhunds had two litters from Bell Vom Flint Hills Wachtelhunds and Duke Von Der Balthasarley in May 2007 and June 2006, producing five pups each time.  Four litters were bred by Nixe Vom Nahetal and Whischo Vom Steinacker in  – 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998.  The 1995 litter produced six Wachtelhund pups.  Of these one has died of natural causes.  The 1996 litter produced eight Wachtelhund pups.  All of these are still living.  The 1997 litter produced another eight Wachtelhund puppies.  Three of these have died, one on the surgery table while being neutered, one from a car accident and one of other natural causes.  The 1998 litter produced nine pups.  Two of these have died, one by car accident and one by a porcupine quill piercing her heart.  See we like to follow up on our Wachtelhunds.

In keeping with the German Wachtelhund Club mandate, the ’95 litter of pups were named beginning with “E” for Eagle River.  Subsequent litters were "F", "G" , "H", "I",  "J"and this is now our "K" litter.

 Three other Wachtelhund litters were bred with semen from one of our Wachtelhunds, Pulas Vom Pohlitz; one by Chad Richardson – Flint Hills Wachtelhunds in 2004, and by Kraig Glazier – Last Chance Wachtelhunds in 2005 and 2006.
